Q. Who is in charge here?

My name is Liana. I’m a mother and housewife living in Southern California. I’ve been decorating cakes since my mother starting teaching me when I was 6 years old. I’ve never had professional training, but I figure that more than 30 years of cake decorating experience makes me an authority. Anyway, it’s the Internet and almost anyone can have a website.

KeenCakes.com will show my recent cakes and how I created them. All the tips I’ve learned through the years will be passed on through this site in my writing, pictures and how-to videos.

Q. What is the future of Keen Cakes?

The future is sweet.

Whenever I tackle big cake decorating projects, I’ll document how I created them, from developing the concept, to icing the top, to the intracacies of the decorations. My blog will point you to some recent tips I’ve put up and provide any news with regards to this site.
