Swimming Party cake – How to Decorate a Swimming Pool Party cake

For the end of the school year YMCA Indian Guides and Indian Princesses pool party, I created a swimming pool cake with all of the kids having fun.

Section 1
The twin towers made of rice krispie treats.

Section 2
I positioned the cake and towers on one long wooden base.

Section 3
I started the cake with an outline of the pool.

Section 4
The green grass surrounded the pool. I filled the pool with blue icing and created a stone edge around the water.

Time to start filling up with kids.

It got really crowded once I added all the kids on tire floats using fondant. Here is the front view.
